My name is David Durr, and for the past 17 years, Culpeper has been more than my home—it’s been the community I’ve had the privilege to serve, grow with, and believe in.
In 2007, my family and I moved to Culpeper when I accepted the role of General Manager at Culpeper Farmers’ Cooperative Inc. Over the next decade, I worked alongside farmers, small business owners, and families who depend on strong local leadership and smart public policy to thrive. Since retiring in 2017, I’ve deepened my service to this community as a volunteer and board member for numerous civic, historic, and charitable organizations.
Today, I’m running as an independent candidate for the Cedar Mountain seat on the Culpeper County Board of Supervisors—because I believe in common-sense government, fiscal responsibility, and preserving the unique values that make Culpeper home.

- Protect taxpayers through responsible, transparent budgeting
